Meet the winner of the Celebrate with Style Father's Day photo contest!
We're so happy to introduce the winner of our Father's Day photo contest. She's Annie Bell, of San Antonio, Texas, and she wins the $250 gift certificate to "Take a Great Dad to Dinner."
The "Great Dad" in Annie's photo is her husband, Kevin, shown with their 4-year-old son, Adam. (The other photo, below, shows Kevin, Adam and the Bells' 3-year-old daughter, Sadie, in Big Sky, Montana.)

Like so many wonderful pictures, Annie's winning photo captured a beautiful and spontaneous moment.
"From the time he was a toddler, Adam seemed to be curious about shaving cream," she says. "But for some reason, he was afraid of it."
This past Christmas Eve, the family was at Annie's mom's house, preparing to go to church. Father and son were in the bathroom getting ready. Kevin noticed Adam watching him prepare to shave and had a feeling that his son might be ready to conquer his shaving-cream fear.

Kevin put a bit of shaving cream in Adam's hands, so that Adam could feel it and play with it for a minute. "Almost immediately, Adam put the shaving cream on his face, 'just like Dad,'" she recalls.
A shared experience
Annie happened to walk into the bathroom at that exact moment. She saw what was happening, and quickly grabbed her camera. She later decided to print the photo in black and white. The picture is now framed and hanging in the family's home.
The fact that Kevin had gently helped his son overcome a fear didn't surprise Annie at all. “Kevin really is a fabulous father,” says Annie. “He’s always doing things with Adam and Sadie. He takes them biking and fishing. He gives them little jobs to do when he’s outside doing yard work. Whatever they do together, Kevin always finds ways to teach the kids something and to make them feel like they’re helping.”
Congratulations, Annie! Thanks for sending in the beautiful photo that our readers chose as the winner of our Father’s Day photo contest. We hope you enjoy taking a great Dad to dinner!
